Create and Manage Your Training Account

Your SMART training account is your gateway to SMART Recovery training programs, live sessions, and course materials.

This article explains how to create your account, manage your password, and request account updates.

Create Your Account

To join live sessions or access courses, you must have an account.

If you have not taken training on the current platform, you likely do not have an account yet.

Steps to create your account:

1. Visit: https://learn.smartrecovery.org/

2. Click Sign Up

3. Enter your information

4. Submit the form to create your account

5. Watch for the verification email with your verification code- it sometimes ends up in spam.
6. Complete the verification

Once your account is created and verified, you can begin enrolling in courses.

Change Your Password

If you forgot your password or need to reset it:

1. Go to: https://learn.smartrecovery.org/

2. Click Log In

3. Select Forgot Password

4. Follow the instructions sent to your email

If you do not receive the reset email, check your spam or junk folder.

Need to Change Your Email Address?

If you need to update the email address connected to your account, please contact the SMART Recovery team.

Include:

• Your current email address

• The new email address you would like to use

• Your full name

For security reasons, email changes must be handled by our team.
